Meet Coach Amber Clark
Bio
Amber Clark will be in her second year as the new head coach for the women's flag football program. Clark finished the 2023 season with a record of 1-10 overall and 1-9 in the KCAC, where her team was named Champions of Character and had three scholar-athletes named.
In the Summer of 2023, Clark was named the defensive captain of the US Women's Flag Football Team, the team went on to become IFAF Americas Continental Gold Medalists.
Clark attended the University of North Carolina, where she was a member of the nationally-ranked track and field team. She obtained a bachelor's in exercise and sports science in 2015.
Before being named the Saint Mary head coach, Clark was an exercise technician, working directly with clients to instruct and encourage them to participate in testing and daily training. During her time in the LFL, Clark was nominated for league MVP and Defensive Player of the Year as a member of the Atlanta Steam. Some of her additional accolades include being named the top defensive back in the nation by USA Flag Football, and she was an alternate player for the USA Flag Football team in 2022. Clark resides in Kansas City, Kansas, with her finance Chuck and their dog Angel.
